We are approaching for most teams the fifth or sixth game of the year. District play either started last night or begins for most teams next Friday Night. Point is, it is getting serious. We believe Pikeville is right in the thick of the 1A race, their record (3-3) notwithstanding. The polls around the Bluegrass would indicate we aren’t the only ones. There is something which seems to have worked well all year that the Panthers need to continue (in our opinion). Get the ball to Mikey Hager! He won’t let you down, we certify that as a FACT. The advice is free.

If you are familiar with my book I co-authored with Sam Harp, “Football 101: Boo-Boo’s a Quarterback” you know there are “Dudes” in football and there are “Busters.” Well, this guy here is a “Dude,” through and through. Raceland High is among the very best programs, KY-wide, at its level of play and have made numerous title game appearances. They haven’t broken through yet, but that day is coming. Enjoy the article.

Friday Night Fletch.

Bryson Rowley from Raceland High is the @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the Week @racelandramsfb @ramnation45 @Coach_Francis @1776Bank @840WHAS

Bryson Rowley very quietly inserted himself in ’23 into the best football player in the Kentucky ’26 graduating class. The 6,’ 175-pounder excelled at both WR and DB for the Rams who took another shot at a 1A title, though came up a bit short. The Rams were laden with senior talent so how good will Coach Salmons crew be this Fall is anyone’s guess. But Hey! It is Raceland. Enjoy this feature and and don’t forget to #SavorTheFlavor of the country’s very finest beef jerky products. Friday Night Fletch.

This week’s @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer is Raceland, Kentucky’s ’26 prospect, Bryson Rowsey. @racelandramsfb @RacelandFootba1 @1776Bank @PrepSpin @MaxPreps @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLPreps

It is hard to get on the field as a freshman. When you play for one of Kentucky’s more storied programs, regardless of classification, it can be THAT much harder. This week’s Protein-packed Performer made his limited appearances count for his team. Enjoy this feature about this very fine freshman and don’t forget to #Savortheflavor. HB

This guy won this award back in March of ’22. It was largely owing to the performance he rendered over his sophomore season. Well, he took it up a notch over his junior year and quite impressively. Sometimes we award this more than once to a single player. This is one of those times. Enjoy this feature and don’t forget to take the time to #savortheflavor. HB.

Talk about a young player already turning some heads, what about this QB playing for Raceland who is a ’24 and has just completed his sophomore season. If you read this feature, it will be apparent how this guy won the country finest beef jerky. Join us again a week from today when some other lucky Kentucky middle or high school player gets awarded the finest beef jerky on the market. HB.

This is a new concept we are calling the “Second Time Around.” All of the teams we have chosen to feature played the other during the regular season. These are five matchups we believe may turn out differently than when the two teams first met in 2020. Here is our breakdown. Enjoy the article!
