’26 MLB/RB has a tremendous year for the Rams on defense in ’24
The actual name of Raceland High is Raceland-Worthington Independent High School. The actual name of Logan Lockwood should be “Dude” Lockwood. If you don’t know the difference between a “Dude” and a “Buster” you haven’t read Coach Harp and Long’s fantastic book, “Football 101: Boo-Boo’s a Quarterback.” Here is a link, buy it right now. Logan Lockwood, a ’26 MLB/RB, is 5’11,” 180-pounds of football player. His 3.8 GPA says a bunch about him too.

Raceland, KY: Raceland-Worthington Independent High has produced some football teams. The Rams regularly produce players too.
When Raceland faced Sayre in this past season’s 1A title game, a first time champion was walking off the field. Sayre won it, but Raceland had been there before; plenty of times.
Raceland played for a title in 2017, 2022, and 2023, prior to its appearance in 2024. They are still awaiting a championship, but there is something to be said about “getting there.”
Raceland produces tremendous talent, particularly at the 1A level. Linden Sammons made Big Ass Fans’ small-school, All-state defense last season. With 85-tackles, nine (9) sacks, and 15-TFLs, was anyone surprised?
Logan Lockwood put up eerily similar numbers. Lockwood, as a junior, registered 80-tackles, eight (8) TFLs, and seven (7) sacks. Lockwood also registered a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Lockwood had 80-tackles, eight (8)-TFLs, and seven (7)-QB sacks in ’24

Lockwood has been clocked at 4.72-seconds over 40-yards. Lockwood shuttles in 4.44-seconds and runs the 100-meter in 12.02, fully automated.
Lockwood is a beast in the weight room. Lockwood benches 305, reps out 185-pounds on the bench press 20-times, squats 435, and deadlifts 525-pounds.
Lockwood power cleans 235-pounds all while sporting a 3.8-GPA. Lockwood is a freaking Dude, man! There can be no legitimate doubt.
Lockwood returns hoping to get his Rams back to Kroger Field. There is talent returning and Raceland is one of those programs who yearly contends.
As for college prospects, we would have to think there are plenty of schools interested. I mean, what’s not to like about a high school linebacker who can rep-out his body weight 20-times and carries a nearly all-A grade point average?
That is pretty recruitable in our book. Then again, what the heck do we know?
