@Hscott_78 (Hunter Scott) from @JCAthletics is a down-hill punisher
One of our favorite players in Kentucky, Hunter Scott, a.k.a. “The Gooch” is what we call a down-hiller in the offensive line play industry. This article should explain that. HB

From the first family of Mountain OL play, we are proud to feature a player who has just been selected the 2nd best offensive lineman, preseason in the entire commonwealth of Kentucky. What makes him so? Enjoy the article. HB.
Every list ever published extolling the ability of any body of people have had people undervalued on the list, people overvalued on the list, and people glaringly omitted. No list is perfect. BoyleCo has done yeoman’s work here, and while we may not agree with the order, we can’t argue with any of the thirty he listed. We can and will give our opinion…and here it is. Enjoy the article. In what has become a tradition at KPGFootball, we have been publishing our end of the year, MS, Freshman, and Sophomore All-State teams. They are the only teams of their like in Kentucky High School football history and we work tirelessly on them. We are coming to the end of this series. Today, we publish the sophomore offense. Keep checking the site for the defense, on which we are still working. If you have a player who you believe should be on here and he isn’t, odds-are he wasn’t nominated by one of our subscribers. Next time, you subscribe and you nominate the player and he will be considered. Otherwise, you have no one to blame but yourself buddy! HB.
Looking for a punishing OG for a football team committed to running the football. We have one for you, and we believe him to be the best in his class at the guard position. Here’s 6-1, 270-pound Owen LeMaster from Paintsville, Kentucky. Enjoy the article. HB.
Someone contacted old Coach Lyon and asked when we were going to put out our preseason top-10 football polls for each classification. Well, today seemed like as good a day as any to continue the tradition. Since KPGFootball started with the top classification when picking district winners, this time we started with Class 1A and yesterday we projected Class 3A. Today we give you our projections for the next classification up from the lowest one, here is Class 4A!
At KPGFootball, we can’t be higher on any young interior offensive lineman than we are on Owen LeMaster. This kid is a bull in the tradition of an Ethan Wolford or even an Andrew Clifton. Heck, he even kind of favors Clifton. We feel LeMaster is the best OG in Kentucky in the graduating class of 2022. If we were selecting a football team from that class, he would be our first choice at the guard slot from out of all the guards playing Kentucky football presently. One of the big advantages the commonwealth of Kentucky has in the Kentucky-Tennessee Future Stars Classic over its Tennessee counterparts is our ability to mine the coalfields up in Eastern Kentucky for rugged, tough, and often huge linemen. Evan Miller is such a specimen. This kid is 6-2, 305-pounds now and judging by what he did to the size 17 cleats he brought to the Somerset combine, he’s only just begun to grow. Enjoy this article about “the next big thing” at the tackle position in Kentucky HS football, circa Class of 2023.
Well, about the last place you expect to see a freshman play is along an offensive front. That may have been the case in bygone years, but that just isn’t the case now. Freshman bigs are coming out of middle school possessing more physical prowess and playing technique that at […]
