Here is our KPGFootball preseason top 5 for the ’22 Fall football season in the 2A classification. We have made an exhaustive search of the respective rosters of the teams listed and believe these five to be the class of this particular classification. Enjoy. HB.
His name is Montavin Quisenberry and around KPGFootball he is just called “Q.” We believe he may be the best freshman football player in all of Kentucky particularly among the skills. This is a fine freshman class too as many are making incredible contributions to the ball club right now. Enjoy this look at the pride of Garrard County. HB.
Here are five (5) freshmen we believe will play this coming year. Some of these guys play for lower level teams which routinely challenge for titles at the respective classifications and others play for teams playing in large classifications where freshmen rarely see Friday Night action. A “No Doubter” is a kid sure to get plenty of PT as a frosh on Friday night and a kid we know we will be featuring plenty over the course of the kid’s high school football career. As we say farewell to another group of ballers we have covered since they played in middle school, we get to meet and update our database with an entire new class of up-and-coming stars who will play their freshman seasons this coming Fall. Many of these guys will start on Friday Night sometime during their initial campaigns. Some of these guys will start night one, snap one and we aren’t talking about on specials either. Well, the high-schoolers were off this week and the middle-schoolers took center stage. There were some unbelievable performances from the KYMSFA semi-finals. Here are this week’s jerky finalists, so to speak. HB.
Breathitt Middle has beaten Meece (14-8) and Johnson County (20-8) in successive game and are entering the KYMSFA playoff seeded second in its region (behind a team it has already beaten) and undefeated. They boast two of the best players in the Class of 2025 in top-dog, Kory Combs, and big man, Sawyer Hall. Look out KYMSFA-title, the ‘Cats are coming for you!
