Here is our KPGFootball preseason top 5 for the ’22 Fall football season in the 2A classification. We have made an exhaustive search of the respective rosters of the teams listed and believe these five to be the class of this particular classification. Enjoy. HB.
We have been seeing this prospect around many college sidelines on visits here this Fall. When you look at his “body of work” it is easy to see why he is so pursued and sought after as a next level guy. He is the son of a revered and famous former head football coach too which only adds to his luster from our vantage point. This guy here has a ton of tremendous football still in his future, wherever that future “plays out.” Enjoy the feature. HB.
For the third consecutive week we canvass the commonwealth digging for exceptional performances to highlight and perhaps reward. This week we featured some 21 or so performances, and 26 if you want to count the offensive line from Madisonville who will be tough to beat for any award with their performance from this past weekend. We believe Knox Story from Mayfield will offer the Cardinals some steady and consistent play along the offensive front in ’21. Jared Stinson is in the top three signal-callers in all of Kentucky’s 2020 graduating class. Mayfield has lost a ton of ground production from last year’s backfield, but the passing game returns almost completely intact. What will Stinson’s numbers be in 2019 with his top receivers returning? If the last two years are an indication, could be off the charts.
