Coach Lucas McLemore from @HopkinsCentral is this week’s Revolutionary Coach/Player selected by @1776Bank, the fastest growing financial institution supporting @KyHighFootball anywhere in the commonwealth. @jaden_brasher @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin, @MaxPreps

There is some precedence for this award being given to a coach and not a player. We have a distinct recollection of having done it one time prior to this, but even should our memory be faulty, it is high-time it happened. Quality coaching makes such a difference at the High School level of competition and The Storm has hired a great coach to help “coach-up” the QB-position, which is loaded this year (by the way) on The Storm’s ’21 roster. Enjoy this feature and join us again next week when we reward another fine player or coach. HB.

He’s Back! @Adrian Stringer6 will “Re-Do” his senior year at @HopkinsCentral. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

Many people around the area considered Adrain Stringer the best QB west of Louisville in HS football in ’20. Many were sorry that his senior season was basically taken from him as the Storm only got 6-games in ’20. Well, Stringer has elected to “Re-Do” his senior year, and as a very young member of the ’21 class, his reclassifying to ’22 looks to be a smart move on his part. In any event, we are sure glad to get to enjoy his on-field performance for another year. How much will he get to play? There is a fine player chomping at the bit for his turn at the wheel in Jaden Brasher. Enjoy the feature. HB.

It is perfectly seasoned, perfectly delicious, and perfectly satisfying. Welcome aboard Mingua Beef Jerky to the family and we look forward to working with you toward promoting and highlighting deserving young athletes. HB Lyon.

Montrell Rogers from @CountyLaker is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week!

July 31, 2020 Henry Lyon 0

This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is a top-flight, 2022 defender playing for Calloway County High School. His name is Montrell Rogers. He, very quietly and without much fanfare, had over 80-tackles in just 11-games in 2019. This feature is brought to you weekly by the folks over at Independence Bank. Go on by and see our friends and thank them, not just for this series, but for the outstanding service and products which have started a revolution in the banking industry.

Who’s going to emerge in Class 4A, District 1 in 2020. Don’t be surprised if its @LC_Cougars

March 4, 2020 Henry Lyon 0

My friends in Hopkinsville are mighty confident the Tigers will resume their historical place as the elite team in its district. Well they well may as there is plenty of talent on the Tiger roster, yearly. However, don’t overlook a Cougar team which has been depleted by graduation but is returning more talent than some of you realize. Enjoy this early look at our friends at Logan County High School.

Hopkins County Central’s Kaison Osbourne is this weeks Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week

May 16, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Losing a 6-1, 280 pounder from the middle of your lines of scrimmage is never an easy hole to fill. The Storm will miss big Kaison Osbourne who will playing on Saturdays in the Fall at the University of the Cumberlands. Thought we better hurry up and award him the Independence Bank’s Revolutionary Player of the week before he got away to college. Join us next week when we award the distinction to another deserving player from the fastest growing bank in the commonwealth of Kentucky.

2019’s Cyrus Kington, Hopkins County Central

June 21, 2018 Fletcher Long 0

Head coach, Stephen Wood‘s storm went 2-9 last season, and truth be told, it has been storming on the Hopkins County Central football program for some time now. In the five years leading up to 2017, according to MaxPreps, The Storm compiled a 6-48 record going winless in 2012, 13, and […]
