Well, it is time to start another social media war about whom we did or didn’t select for our KPGFootball All-State Offense. Like we have before said, many times, you never get them all and you will always leave off any all-state team players who were undoubtedly “All-Sate Caliber.”

Isaac Earl, ’26 QB for Hopkins Central, gives The Storm hope for sunnier days ahead! @HopkinsCentral @evans02_mike @Yfnmcnary @KYFUTURESTARS @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @PrepSpin @MaxPreps @HLpreps

Okay, Central wanted to win Friday night and wanted to knot its regular season record at 5-5 instead of the 4-6 finish it has experienced. All of that is true. However, there is a component of “next year” in every football program and a constant forward progression which must occur. There are lots of things to which to look forward if you are a Storm-watcher. One of those is the brilliant and composed play of its very young, freshman QB and heir-apparent to the keys to a potent offensive attack. Enjoy the feature. HB.

The Storm have hit the ‘Mother Load’ with McNary and he’s running through defenses like ‘a bull in a china shop.’ @HopkinsCentral @evans02_mike @Yfnmcnary @KYFUTURESTARS @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @PrepSpin @MaxPreps @HLpreps

We have been covering Calil McNary for years. He was a 3X Kentucky Future Star. You will find those guys almost always end up HS stars too. That is certainly the case with McNary, as he has his team sitting pretty through its first three games (2-1) with Todd County calling this coming Friday night. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Chase Brasher from @HCCHS_Football is the @1776Bank ‘Revolutionary Player of the Week.’ @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @MaxPreps @KyHighFootball @LetsGoStorm

Chase Brasher from Hopkins County Central came up huge for the Storm when his team most needed it. Fighting for their collective playoff lives, the Class 4A, first-district team insured its inclusion with a win over McLean County which bolstered its RPI and secured the 3rd-seed in the playoffs which begin for the Storm tonight in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The opponent is the always tough, athletic, and well coached Hoptown Tigers. Enjoy the feature and get by and see our friends at Independence Bank. Independence Bank has revolutionized the banking industry with its superior service and products. HB.

The 2019, Middle School, All-State Defense…

It is one of the most controversial things we do all year. It is the publishing of the MS All-State Team. Today, we are publishing the defensive team. This team was selected from the nominations of our subscribers. Hey, membership has certain privileges, don’t know what to tell you. HB.

Ethan Phillips, Highland Middle, Class of 2024, a stalwart for his class along the line of scrimmage

We got a note from someone advocating our doing a feature on this particular player. With his having played on two successful and victorious Team Kentucky Future Stars it was easily time to be featuring him. The person sending us the information said “He may not be feature material, but I think he’s a name worth remembering.” Well, we couldn’t disagree with you more about the first part. We absolutely think he’s “feature material.” In fact, here’s his feature right here. Enjoy the article. HB.
