We have written about Cortez Stone for years. We also were among the very first to recognize him as ’25’s top running back, commonwealth-wide. His junior season hasn’t been changing anyone’s mind around our offices. Enjoy the feature. FL.

This former Kentucky Future Star has lived every bit up to the billing he had coming out of the middle school ranks. He is Kentucky’s top rated player and has committed to play collegiately with the Cardinals in Louisville, Kentucky, just 45 or so minutes from his hometown. HIs 4.0 GPA is something to celebrate too. Enjoy this feature and don’t forget to get by a local dispensary and buy yourself some of the country’s finest in all-beef, jerky products. Life is short…#SavorTheFlavor! #Brotherhood. FL.

His is one of the most recognized names in Kentucky football. Largely because his dad, Chad Pennington, who is also the head football coach of the Sayre’s program, played 10-years in the NFL, was a Heisman Trophy finalist for Marshall’s Thundering Herd, and was drafted 18th-overall, as the first QB in the 2000 NFL draft. However, his son’s ability to play the same position is drawing quite a few apt comparisons. Enjoy this look at a feature about the son and not the dad and join us again next week as we feature another outstanding candidate. HB.

@logan_weedman from @REALAHSFOOTBALL looking to help restore the Eagles to prominence

This is an example where an early offer may have stopped other schools from offering. Logan was offered by the Wildcats in 2017 and has only added one other offer since (WKU). Of course, one doesn’t need but one, one can only accept one anyway. This is a consistently rated player who we think of more as a DE than the TE position where both major rating services forecast he will play in college. Enjoy the article. HB.

Montgomery County’s Cole Taul, Class of 2021, Big…Nasty!

July 24, 2019 Henry Lyon 1

We have the most extensive contacts who relate the most current and accurate data to us daily about the high school football world across Kentucky. Sometimes even we are amazed how right we turn out to be, seemingly all the time, and how much sooner we know who the football players are in Kentucky before any of our rivals. All they really have to do is read us…wait a minute, that is what they do. Here is a player whose anonymity (prior to today) will astound you. Cole Taul from Montgomery County High School, commonly referenced simply as MoCo. Enjoy this article.

Reece Jesse grabs his first Division-I offer…

This one is a straight we-told-you-so article. We should probably be bigger people than this but the record is pretty clear we aren’t. We were the first to extoll the prowess of this prospect by a country-mile. Share this one around with everyone you know. This is why no one covers Kentucky High School football as accurately and in-depth as we.

Class of 2020 QB, Eli Sammons, Greenup County Musketeers

Alexandre Dumas is a famous French novelist who was very prolific and whose novels have been translated into some 100 different languages. He authored one of my very favorites, The Count of Montecristo. Perhaps an even more popular novel than that is the one he published in 1844 called The Three Musketeers. […]

The Spencer County Speed Demon…Kadin Smith

July 29, 2017 Fletcher Long 0

Kadin Smith is a Purdue Boilermaker commitment from Spencer County, Kentucky who is a 3x defending High School Track Champion at the 100, 200, and 400 meters. I saw a 4.63 40 yard dash timeposted for him which I believe to be too slow. Kadin has a registered time […]
