’29 WR/DB credited with nine (9) games of action in ’25
Kayden Alexander is an example of the type talent the new Christian County Tigers will be able to draw upon when filling out its first roster. Alexander was a freshman in ’25 who got some valuable run and PT playing under the Friday Night Lights. Coach Dustin Lopes will need players like this to fill out, develop, and fulfill their considerable promise if his Tigers are to meet with success playing football at the 6A classification.

Hopkinsville, KY: Jayden Alexander is a kid who came on the Colonel roster late in the year. Alexander has been described as having a very athletic build, raw at the sport (having never before played), but a good kid with tons of growth potential.
That tons of growth potential is a key. College scouts and recruiters are keen on recruiting prospects with tons of upside, tons of growth potential.
What can really catapult this prospect from raw to dawg is this present offseason. We have gotten word the consolidated roster, the Christian County Tigers, who begin play in the Fall of ’26 are putting in the work.
We shall see. The proof will certainly be in the pudding so to speak when August arrives.
Alexander is sort of an insignia of the newly minted consolidated roster. Hopkinsville had a competitive 6A, first district team in ’25 but has suffered some losses to graduation. Christian County struggled but had some good, young talent, the new consolidated staff might find useful.
The conglomerate will have to be pretty tough, pretty resilient, pretty dad-burn skilled to have success playing against Kentucky’s “big boys” in the 6A classification. Making deep incursions into the 6A playoffs? Well, that will take even more than ruling the first district roost.
One thing is for certain. Having good, young, and somewhat experienced talent from which to draw will be a boon. It for darn sure won’t hurt matters.
Join us next week as we return to honor another weekly prize winner. Until then, get on down to one of our Christian County Area locations and remember, our products are superior and one of a kind; just like the Christian County Tigers’s, Kayden Alexander.
