Shelbyville, KY: Everybody wants to focus on Kade Goodin. Goodin is a “good’un,” for sure.
Goodin is a ’27 who some schools like at QB, some schools like as an ATH/DB. At 6’3,”190-pounds, Goodin has the frame, length, and size to do about anything.
There aren’t too many sophomore QBs who throw for over 2,200-yards and 22-TDs while rushing for 861-yards and 13-ground scores. However, there aren’t a ton of Jason Hence’s either.
Goodin has been offered by Marshall and EKU already. There are others who will join the party as soon as this coming summer camp/combine/Sevens season.
Hence has some offers too. There are other programs are still evaluating and circling. We hear they like what they see.
Hence caught 38-passes for 475-yards and six (6) TDs while completed 90% (9 of 10) of his passing attempts

Hence also had quite a sophomore season. Hence threw 10-passes this past season and completed nine (9) of them. Hence caught 38-passes for 475-yards and six (6) TDs receiving. Hence was third (3rd) on the team in scoring.
Now, Hence may not be quite as celebrated as his teammate; but, Hence made the All-District team and carried a 3.1 GPA. Hence is 6’2,” 180-pounds, so he is framed out pretty similarly to Goodin, though a hare shy.
The Titans are coached by Jerry Lucas and play 5A football. Collins has had success in the past, winning the 4A title in 2013, beating Dale Mueller and Highlands, after having been runners-up in 2012, losing to Dale Mueller and Highlands. Lucas coached both of those squads and is building this roster toward making more title runs in 5A.
Having a Kade Goodin doesn’t hurt. Having a Jason Hence doesn’t either.
