This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is a top-flight, 2022 ILB playing for Louisville’s Male High School. His name is Elijah Manning. This is a kid has played at NG/DT before being moved back to the second level at ILB where he has the athleticism, power, and explosion to flourish. Darion Dearinger, Class of 2021, Schools better hop on this train before it leaves the station…

This is a phenomenon we discussed with Darion’s father just yesterday. Why was EKU the first to evaluate Dearinger and then only offer after two bigger, more prestigious schools pulled the trigger. Do they believe FBS schools are better at evaluating prospects than the coaches they have hired? Don’t know, but FCS schools slow-walking obvious Division I, FBS-Level talent is a strategy which some coach at that level might want to explain to us sometime. We don’t see the benefit of arriving at the station after the train has departed.

It would appear Peyton Blackburn (@Pblackburn77) Class of 2020 Shelby Valley, has joined General Jackson’s “Stonewall Brigade.”
