Centre College has been killing it on the recruiting trail. The small college in Danville, Kentucky is in the midst of an unparalleled facilities upgrade and the talent, particularly in-Kentucky, is flocking to the small town known for winning football titles at various levels of play. Austin Gough has now decided to take his considerable talents down the road a bit and report for duty in the Colonels’ regiment. Read this feature about Centre College’s newest Colonel. HB.

Sometimes we forget that not every kid comes in and slides straight into the Friday night lineup as a freshman. This is especially true at the 5A level of football in Kentucky. However, by year’s end we saw more and more of JT Adams patrolling the Colonel defense’s second level. Get ready, you will certainly see way more of that this year out of a kid we have consistently ranked among the top 2-3, 2023 LBs. Enjoy the article. HB.

My friends in Hopkinsville are mighty confident the Tigers will resume their historical place as the elite team in its district. Well they well may as there is plenty of talent on the Tiger roster, yearly. However, don’t overlook a Cougar team which has been depleted by graduation but is returning more talent than some of you realize. Enjoy this early look at our friends at Logan County High School.

We love the offseason at KPGFootball. Judging by our “visits” statistic, so do many of you. We have more viewership in the offseason than in-season. We are willing to bet you readers (or advertisers) would have never guessed that! It is a time of rejuvenation, a time of hope, a […]

In high school football, the Kentucky High School Athletic Association recognizes 6 classifications and are in the midst of crowning 6 state champions. The KYMSFA, or the Kentucky Middle School Football Association, crowns three (3), 8th grade state football champions (Divisions I, II, and III). I suppose for either of […]
