Well, in his first game he caught 5 passes for 136 yards receiving and a pair of TD tosses. How’s that? He finished off 2018 with 32 receptions for 589 yards receiving and now, on the eve of his senior Fall campaign, appears poised to be one of the Colonels’ most pronounced offensive weapons. @ClarksvilleFB’s Wyatt Thornton, Class of 2020, is the Meeks & Meeks Attorneys Montgomery County Player of the Week

June 22, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

Most of the players who get the publicity for the Clarksville Wildcats are offensive linemen. Who can blame the media for that? CHS may have the finest group of 2020 OL assembled on one team in Tennessee. Still, for CHS to have the success it wants and maybe should, the DL has to “show up” too. Today’s Player of the Week will be instrumental this Fall. If Clarksville can get consistent play out of Thornton commensurate with what they have seen from him in flashes…look out! Enjoy this look at our Meeks & Meeks Montgomery County Player of the Week and join us next week as we crown a new recipient.

Did @Southwestern_FB’s Braiden Myers come out of the Kentucky-Tennessee Future Stars Classic 2023’s top-rated offensive center?

June 18, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

There wasn’t much about Kentucky’s offensive performance versus Tennessee in the Future Stars Classic which we didn’t find…offensive, frankly. If there was a bright spot it was the play of Braden Myers from Pulaski County, Kentucky. Myers snap arrived on a pulse beat all afternoon, every single time, exactly where you would want it. He manned the A-gap, a hot bed of activity along any front so well you forgot he was out there and he showed great mobility moving down to the second level to pick up big blocks for Kentucky there. This kid firmly established that the formerly two man race for the class’s top offensive center between Bracken Castle and Matt Alex Ladd is now firmly a three man race and there may be a new leader in the clubhouse. Enjoy the article.
