Biggers performed “Bigly” this past year for his 2A football team. He gained 1,031-yards rushing in 87-carries (11.85-yards per attempt). He scored 11-rushing TD’s.

Biggers caught 10-passes for 294-yards and six (6) TD’s receiving. That is quite a bit of production from a team running the Veer offense.

Biggers led the team in scoring (110-points). Biggers was among the leaders in tackles (45). Biggers was 4th on the team in INT’s.

Now we are going to recap his production compared to the rest of the team to accentuate his importance. Biggers had the most carries, gained the most yards from scrimmage, scored the most TD’s rushing, led the team in yards per carry.

Biggers had the most receptions, had the most yards receiving, caught the most TD’s. Biggers led the team in scoring, tallying points rushing, receiving, returning a kickoff to pay dirt, and scoring a two-pointer following a TD.

I visualize my college years to be a personal growth period…My ultimate goal is to go pro and play in the NFL

Xavier Biggers, Murray High WR/RB/DB

On defense he was among the leaders in tackles. He was 4th on the team in INT’s and among the leaders in PBU’s (Passes Broken Up).

Biggers is a track guy. Biggers registered 40-yard dash time is 4.5-seconds and his being the regional track champion in the 200-meters would collaborate his 40-time.

Where does Biggers project, next level? Well, at 5’10” he probably will be viewed as a CB. Of course with his speed he could hit the field early in the return game. Regardless, it appears clear to us he will have a next level experience.

Between now and then, he will be leading the Murray High Tigers back to prominence. Won’t that be fun to watch?

Congratulations to Xavier Biggers, both for their Revolutionary Play over the course of the ’22 season and that which is to come as we brace for the Fall of ’23 football season which is just a few months away whether or not you realize it. Biggers’ contribution to his football team has earned him this week’s recognition from the fastest growing bank in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, your friends at Independence Bank.
