Makers of the World's Finest Jerky Products

Conner High’s 6,’ 180-pound athlete is the pride of both Hebron, Kentucky and Connor High

Elian is one of those quality, two-way, WR/DB combos who dot many rosters around the KHSAA. The difference is not too many guys pull this type of double duty at the 5A level, as Ruzindana did in ’22 and is expected to do over his senior season upcoming. Ruzindana is proof there are fine athletes and ball players on every roster across Kentucky, even the rosters which didn’t fare too well in the won-loss ledger.

Migua Beef Jerky uses Enviro-Pac CHU-2000 equipment to cook its meat to USDA required levels for both moist or dry operation. Mingua Beef Jerky wants you to become one of its many satisfied customers by sampling its quality hand sliced, all natural beef jerky. We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

…[S]omething different and superior to all other beef jerkies…

KPGFootball on the quality of Mingua’s product

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein-packed PerformerElian Ruzindana (DB/WR) from Hebron, Kentucky’s Connor High School, wouldn’t it?

Conner is a little removed from the double overtime, Regional Championship loss to Madison Central in ’18. The program has moved down in classification since then, but the competition hasn’t seemed to lighten in the least.

Ruzindana was among Conner High’s leaders in tackles, PBU’s, and INT’s (where he was THE team leader).

No one is more anxious to win than Coach James Trosper. To do that, he has to get a lot more Ruzindana-types on the roster and the field.

Ruzindana is a 6,’ 180-pounder who aligns at WR on offense and plays in the defensive third level on defense. Offensively, heading into his senior season, the ’24 prospect was among the team’s leaders in receptions.

Ruzindana ran the ball out of the jet this past year. I would look for him to get a lot more of that action this coming season.

Defense is where Ruzindana is more likely to line up at the collegiate level. Last season, Ruzindana was among the leaders in tackles, PBU’s, and led the team in interceptions.

There is one more statistic we take great strides to annotate anytime we encounter it. Ruzindana has a 4.0 GPA. That will take one lots of places.

We have awarded this to Ruzindana as we can’t fathom how any one student athlete could have possibly meant any more to a team in ’22 than Ruzindana did for Conner High. On this basis, Mingua Beef Jerky and we decided this talented and accomplished ’24 WR/DB could use a bolt of protein and a sweet T-shirt. The company volunteered to send that to him, straight away.

Join us next week as we return to honor another weekly prize winner. Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from all the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind; just like Conner High’s, Elian Ruzindana
