This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is a top-flight, 2021 RB prospect who really shone, with the help of his offensive line, last Friday night when Bowling Green hosted Class 6A, first-district power McCracken County. Bunton plays for Bowling Green High School, and is the team’s leading rusher on the year with 452-yards gained in 4 games with 86-carries and 9-TDs so far. Talk about your protein-packed performers, this 6-1, 215-pound MLB for Owensboro (Senior) High School (5A) had one of those nights where he was called upon to contribute on multiple sides of the scrimmage line. He came away with a big-time performance and productive regardless of what he was called upon to do. In a tight contest like last Friday with Owensboro Catholic, where every score was important, his contributions were instrumental to victory. We think AG (as we call him around the magazine) is the definitive player at his defensive position in Kentucky high school football. Can’t flatter a guy much more than that! Talk about your protein-packed performers, this 5-11, 190-pound RB/DB for Belfry High School (3A) had a quite a night this past Friday. Matter of fact, he’s having quite the year. We think he is a bone fide “Mr. Football” candidate.
