This prospect has been likened to Wandale Robinson. We watch him and believe him to be more of a Jay Becherer clone. Regardless, he is likened to two exceptional former high school players both of whom flourished in college. We believe before it is said and done, this kid here will do likewise. He is certainly putting in the work. Enjoy the feature. HB.

This is a program which has been fluttering. However, it is also a 6A program which has plenty of talent on hand to compete vigorously with its District 1 opponents if combed and recruited to the roster with sufficient zeal. Toren Redmond is the type of athlete which has to find the field on Friday Nights. We think this Fall will be his coming out party. Enjoy the feature. HB.

We love to visit our many friends and locations in the Independence Bank family. Today we visit our branch in Madisonville, Kentucky known far and wide as the “East Center.” Harlee Egbert is among the Storms’ more lethal defenders returning and is also one of the best names in Kentucky High School football. He will draw plenty of ink before his high school journey is through. Enjoy this feature on one of Kentucky’s very finest at the LB/RB positions. Get on by and visit one of our fine branches today and discover what makes Independence Bank’s people, products, and services revolutionary in the financial services industry. HB.

Here is our best guess at the five best teams heading into the ’22 season in the 3A classification. We were right on the money a year ago picking Belfry to win and Paducah to make the final game. Man, did we look stupid at the mid-way point and genius at the end. Hopefully, we will once again demonstrate our superior knowledge and work ethic. Enjoy. HB.

Breakout Player: Get a load of @ZaquanQuarles from @ColonelFootball! @1776Bank @CountyColonels @Christian_Co270 @minguabeefjerky @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps @PrepSpin

We went to a recent Christian County Colonel football practice and to say ZaQuan Quarles ‘stood out’ would be understated. Quarles is listed at 6’2″ but we believe that may be a tad short and his wingspan is something about which to write an epic poem. We believe this is a kid some colleges out there should be very excited about recruiting.

Breakout Player: It may be time for @RileyHatfield8 to answer the call of his Hawks. @laruecofootball @laruecohawks @LaRueCounty @nulifejudd @high_larue @LCHeraldNews @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @PrepSpin @MaxPreps @KyHighFootball @HLPreps @KyHighs

LaRue County’s all-everything QB from ’21 has bolted to LCA. Where does that leave the Hawks? Well, it leaves them in need of someone to step it up in ’22 particularly under center. We believe the job will fall to Riley Hatfield, or perhaps it should. We believe Hatfield has the frame and skills to excel there and will lead the program back to its usual place of prominence. Enjoy the feature. HB.

We love to visit our many friends and locations in the Independence Bank family. Today we visit our branch in Providence, Webster County, Kentucky. Derek Adams is among the brightest stars in his graduating class of ’25. He will draw plenty of ink before his high school journey is through. Both Mingua Beef Jerky and KPGFootball prize versatility. Well you can’t find a more versatile performer than this week’s Protein-packed Performer. We counted three offensive line and three defensive line posts manned by him at some time or another over the course of the ’21 season. Enjoy this look at an OL/DL about whom you will continually hear going forward and don’t forget to pick up a few bags of our one-of-a-kind beef jerky products and #savortheflavor!

Breakout Player: Brian Crawford (@brian24557409) from @GRCHS_Football, its time for you to come to the party! @GRC_Clark_FB @CRCCards @chirico_joe @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @PrepSpin @MaxPreps @KyHighFootball @HLPreps @Kyhighs

Brian Crawford is a specimen. He is also about to be a junior. Why did he only get in one varsity game a year ago? We don’t know. If the Cards would like to greatly improve on last season’s 3-9, we would suggest getting the yoked, brick, crap-houses on the field and off the sideline this coming Fall. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Austin Trent is a ‘football player.’ There are some of you out there who know exactly what that means. There was a time when college programs knew the importance of ‘football players’ though we are as sure of that still being true as we once were. Either way, Trent is set to have a huge year this coming Fall. He will be a Junior. The Junior year is like ‘moving day’ in a PGA Tour event. Enjoy the feature. HB.
