The Warren Central High Dragons have won a football game. The last time, before Friday night, this had occurred this publication was still a year and a half from coming online (March 30, 2017). Here’s the rub, the Dragons have enough talent to get on track and win several more games this season. From there, who knows?… HB.

Prospects in all competitive classes brace for action tomorrow night. One of those is Michael Braunm from Great Crossing High. HIs Warhawks draw Western Hills tomorrow night at home. Will Braunm see the field? Who knows, but he does understand the path to success, and that is over half the battle. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Daulton “Bubba” Tarter is long the very best and brightest linebackers in Kentucky’s ’26 class of prospects. At 5’8,” and 180-pounds we haven’t the foggiest how his frame is likely to finish. We know this…he’s a 215-pound bench presser, a 375-pound back squatter, and a 2X Kentucky Future Star Defensive MVP entering the frosh campaign. Will he be a star at the HS level? No doubt! HB.

Finding a kicker is pivotal to a championship run. We have seen this demonstrated over and over through our years covering middle and high school football. Andrew Herron was one of the best, Kentucky-wide, in the MS game. Is he ready for the HS spotlight? We discuss it in this article. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Sam Davis from Frankfort High is a twin and named for a very significant historical figure, or so we think anyway. We really don’t know why his parents named him “Sam.” We do know this…this particular Sam Davis is a whale of a football player and hs played well enough for this week’s recognition and prize package. We believe Sam has some heroic football effort in his immediate future and these efforts will make the Panthers a much improved football team in ’22. Davis is the type player we relish rewarding at both Mingua Beef Jerky and at KPGFootball. Congratulations and don’t forget to pick up a few bags of our one-of-a-kind beef jerky products to #savortheflavor! HB.

Bo Stinson has plenty of lines in him this season. He has also put on 40+ pounds of the kind of weight coaches want to see linemen gain. What Bo has done is inject himself onto recruiting boards and into all-state team discussions across Kentucky. Enjoy this look at the pride of Bourbon County High, Bo Stinson. HB.

It is that time of year. Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their high school and its football fortunes. It might be called “Davis Days” for the Panther faithful in Frankfort, Kentucky. Well, Jack and Sam will answer the call, they always have before now anyway. We will get to Sam a little later. Today, we will discuss Jack Davis in earnest. Enjoy the feature. HB.
