Reed Jefferies from CAL is easy to overlook. After all, he is a diminutive 5’9″ and weighs a slightly built 150-pounds. Had to have been a surprise when he contributed as much as he did to both sides of the football for the Centurions a season ago, when he was a mere sophomore. We believe his best is still to come. Jefferies is the type player we relish rewarding at both Mingua Beef Jerky and at KPGFootball. Congratulations and don’t forget to pick up a few bags of our one-of-a-kind beef jerky products to #savortheflavor! HB.

Carson Greenwell is one of the better centers in the entire commonwealth and certainly in the central Kentucky area. His anchoring one of Kentucky’s more formidable fronts has garnered for the ’23 OL prospect a ton of college attention at multiple levels of competition. Where will he land? Who knows. Let’s enjoy his senior year and we can worry about that a little later. HB.

Here is another outstanding young footballer in Kentucky about whom you may just now be learning. He has a fine frame and is quite an athlete. He is listed as a TE/DE. Where he ultimately ends up and on which side of the football is something we discuss herein. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Jordan Wright, ’23, sounded more and more like one of our banks the more we poured over and studied his performance in ’21. Will he perform similarly in ’22. We’re taking it to the bank! Spencer Bennington is a player one doesn’t see every day around Kentucky High School football. He’s a coveted TE prospect, who doubles at the 4A level very credibly at safety, and who sports a 3.6 GPA at one of Kentucky’s foremost private schools. We believe the future is so bright for this young player, he literally has to wear shades. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Peyton Ledford has to be among the more explosive, versatile, and talented players playing high school football today around the commonwealth of Kentucky. Ledford has all the tools and “measurables” with incredible on-field production to match. He is the kind of guy we relish rewarding at both Mingua Beef Jerky and at KPGFootball. Hagan Harrison was rumored injured. However, he looks “full go” to us the preseason. This is why we generally don’t report on injuries. Either way, the Indians appear loaded headed into the ’22 season and good knows they are well coached (Mike Holcomb). Enjoy this look at a guy who certainly comes off the bus terrifically. HB.

We love to visit our many friends and locations in the Independence Bank family. Today we visit a branch in Louisville, Kentucky located on Shelbyville Road. Noah Meyers is among the Shamrocks brightest stars at TE and may be the best Kentucky has that critical position in the ’23 class. We are confident Noah Meyers will continue to draw plenty of ink before his high school journey is complete. Enjoy this feature on one of Kentucky’s very finest at the WR/TE position.
