Kade Goodin is a ’27 guy we have been following for years. You may wonder how that is even possible? If we just covered HS, it probably wouldn’t be but we get on these guys in middle school and often follow them to college. This guy is a future Saturday player at a minimum. He has plus size, length, and athleticism. He is a two sport varsity athlete, also playing point guard in basketball, which is the QB of a basketball team. He is a QB for Collins but is projected to play WR at the next level. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky.

When the polls get released, and the new RPI gets dropped, don’t be surprised to see Coach Chad Griffin’s Raiders from Hart County either at the very top or, certainly, around it. The team was 13-1 in 2023 and are 9-0 with a date with Campbellsville upcoming. Great coaches and great teams have great players. Brenan Griffin may be the best, raw, football player in Kentucky 3A. What an upset this past weekend, as Kentucky Country Day over Campbellsville denied me my first perfect weekend. Oh well, 14-1; I’ll take it. Parker Rudolph had quite the night and, not only was it statistically impressive, it came against the best team in the classification. Look out for KCD, they are alway quite good but this bunch may be special.

Luke Pennington, a Dayton commit, has been keeping it pretty cool out there under the “Friday Night Lights.” Matter of fact, our Kentucky Comfort Creator has thrown 82-TDs the last two seasons without a single INT. He completes nearly 80% of his passing attempts making him among the most efficient QBs the high school game in Kentucky has ever seen. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky.

Central finds itself exactly where it was a year ago. However, this time just feels differently. The Storm pushed McLean to overtime before bowing out gracefully, 48-46, and Fort Campbell’s beating North has taught us all a little something about never quitting before the combatants even take the field. We like Central to win this game and set its ’24 record at 3-5 heading into the final two. Enjoy the feature.

Solomon Stonebreaker is among the best WRs in 3A football. He plays for one of its better teams, for one of its better coaches, and is also one of its. better athletes and defensive backs. This guy is all-stud. When you digest the numbers and the statistics you are left with one inescapable conclusion…Solomon is the cornerstone of a well constructed program.
