Demarkese Harris stepped away from the game in ’23 for reasons for which we wouldn’t be so bold as to fathom a guess. We can tell you “Kese” is back in a big way at Christian County and no two coaches are any happier about that than head man, Ethan Atchley, and defensive coordinator, Tony “Cheese” McCombs. Look for Kese to put up monster production in the coming Fall and look for his Colonels to be a much improved outfit than the one you remember from the year prior. Enjoy the article. De’André Watkins is a guy coming off his sophomore season which saw him get plenty of PT for a young guy laboring on a 6A roster. We believe the Colonels will be way more formidable in ’24 then they were at any time in ’23. Tristin Dillard came out of Middle School ranked by most the pundits among the top three RBs in Kentucky’s 2027 graduating class. Dillard had a solid freshman season but has transferred to 6A, first district, Christian County and looks to us to be set for take off. Coach Atchley continues to add to his staff at Christian County as the two area high schools march toward consolidation. The new Colonel head man appears bent on bring back on staff coaches from the not too distant past who remember what a championship caliber program resembles. We feature out of Kentucky talent when that talent is being recruited to Kentucky college programs.
