This kid is our top 2021 DE in the entire 1A classification. Here’s the rub, he’s being recruited to play on offense just as hard as on defense. Many D-1s rave about him as a TE prospect. The Hazard Bulldogs, when they unload off the bus, just never look like how you would think a 1A team would look. They are always big, brutish, physical, well-coached, and in the 1A title-hunt. One problem they have is the emergence of district-foe, Pikeville, as the classification’s preeminent team. With young talent like Zane Deaton and Elijah Gayheart, coach Howard will find his way. Well, simply put, this article is a flexing of our scouting muscle. There isn’t a single sports entity, outside of Anderson County, who even knows who this prospect is, much less that he is now prepared to set fire to the KHSAA’s 5th-district in Class 4A. Isaiah Fitzpatrick has grown, added muscle, dropped his 40-time from 4.6 to 4.42, and is ready to use his senior film to get some major attention.
