We relish every opportunity to distinguish fantastic performers in all three phases of the game of football. This would include special teams where guys like today’s recipient really shine. Having an accomplished place kicker is like finding money in your dry cleaning. It can also be like “money in the bank.” Enjoy this look at a fine placekicker/punter from the class of ’25 and join us next week as we do all of this all over again. HB.

Tel Tel Long is a Long way from being done with his high school career. With what he did as a sophomore, we just can’t wait to see what he does as an upperclassman. The mascot for Simon Kenton’s athletic teams are “The Pioneers.” The man for whom the high school has been named was a legendary frontiersman in Ohio and the Midwest. The rising senior to be, ’23’s Josh Bowling, is getting fairly legendary in his own right. Enjoy this feature on one of Northern Kentucky’s more talked about and recruited 2nd level defenders. HB.

We have covered Frankie Knight since he was a middle schooler setting the curve in the 40 at the Future Stars combine. He is still fast as his work on the track as a sprinter would suggest. He’s also a real diamond in the rough football prospect too who may be finding his dance card filling up really soon. Enjoy the feature. HB.
