Jacob Litteral may literally be the best interior offensive lineman in all of Kentucky, particularly at the 1A level of play. He plays for Raceland Worthington High School ( hereafter “Raceland”) and he is being doggedly recruited by various schools at various levels of play. Litteral is 6’2,” weighs 265-pounds, bench presses 375, squats 555, and “Hex Bar” deadlifts 625. Litteral’s 4.1-GPA and 26-ACT make him a take from he Ivy League to schools like Centre, Mount Saint Joseph, and Otterbein University (Cardinals). If we are being “literal” it would appear the Cardinals from the Ohio Athletic Conference in Westerville, Ohio may have staked themselves to the early lead for this signature.

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.
Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein-packed Performer, Jacob Litteral, ’26 IOL from Raceland Worthington High School in Raceland, Kentucky.

Raceland, KY: Raceland Worthington High School, “The Rams,” are a powerhouse 1A football program. These guys are tough and are to be taken seriously regardless how many students the opponent may have enrolled in its hallways.
Just ask 4A Letcher County Central. They dropped a game to Raceland last year by seven in August. Letcher County went on to win six (6) games in 4A and advance to the second round.
Ask Ashland-Blazer what it thinks. Sure, the Tomcats beat Raceland but struggled with them much of the night then went on to win 11-games playing 4A football and dropping the regional championship game to Corbin.
Like we said, Raceland is tough. If you happen to be a 1A team, Raceland is super tough.
Raceland won 10-games in ’24 and lost the state title game by five points to Sayre. Raceland has played for 4-titles at its classification of play and has won its region 8-times in football.
Now if you are wondering how a team like Raceland keeps having such success in KHSAA football, the answer is quite literally about Jacob Litteral. Linemen like Litteral are the difference. Litteral is a beast-stud, a “dude.”

Litteral is a class of ’26 guy who bench presses (quite literally) 375-lbs., squats 555, and pulls 625 (hex-bar). The kid sports a 4.1-GPA and a 26 on the ACT. These entrance numbers gain you admittance about anywhere you might possibly hope to go.
Last year, the Rams rushed for 2,900 yards and 49-rushing TDs while passing for another 1,884 with 16-TDs through the air. You will see teams from along the Ohio River in the northeastern part of Kentucky pound the ground in the downhill run game. You won’t see them throwing it around quite like the Rams, outside of Pikeville.
Approaching 2,000-yards passing and having a nearly 2:1 TD to INT ratio is nothing at which to sneeze, literally or figuratively. That degree of offensive balance keeps defenses guessing on what may be coming next.
Going forward, Litteral is a prospect with major D-1 numbers in the weight room already. Litteral’s height is a tad on the short side and his length isn’t where some want to see it at the “Power 4” level. That doesn’t mean Litteral won’t catch on with an Ivy-League, FCS-D1, or even a service academy like West Point, Annapolis, or even Air Force in Colorado Springs.
Join us next week as we return to honor another weekly prize winner. Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind; just like Raceland High’s Jacob Litteral.
