When Luke Richardson led the Wildcats to a 14-1 record and 4A Kentucky State Championship in 2018 he probably thought HS football was a breeze. We heard a team in Eastern Kentucky one time referenced as “The Mayfield of the Mountains.” They were quite pleased with that reference. They should be. However, this is “The Mayfield which is the actual Mayfield” we’re talking about today. They has lost a ton of offensive production. They have lost quite a bit in the third defensive level too. Is Kylan Galbreath enough to lead them back to Lexington? We will look at that in this article. HB.

We featured a teammate of his weeks ago and now we have circled around to feature him. Kobe Martin is one of 2022’s top-five or so RBs commonwealth-wide and recruiters tell me, college prospect wise, he may be every higher than that. He is getting it done at one of Kentucky’s premier football programs at any classification. It will be fun to see what he does this coming Fall.
