Speaking of someone making a home…
We have made it no secret at KPGFootball that we love the big-uglies, who we don’t find ugly at all. Simply put, a team just can’t win without the Daniel Evans types doing the “heavy-lifting” along the front-line. Daniel is a 6-2, 300-pound offensive lineman who is what we call a multi-level blocker.
We have seen Evans aligned at offensive center, guard, and even tackle. Regardless out of which slot he fires, what he does every time is fires. This is a kid who is a flat-backer (meaning his back is perfectly flat in his stance) who fires out and not up, then really brings his feet. For the Patriots to improve in 2019, they will rely heavily on one of the heavier athletes in the locker room. They will go as Daniel Evans goes.
Congratulations, to Daniel Evans for being selected this week’s Stewart Williams Furniture Company’s Robertson County Player of the Week. Join us next week as we anoint a new recipient.
Reporting for KPGFootball, this is Fletcher Long reminding all of you ballers out there that #WeGotUCovered and to PLAY THROUGH THE WHISTLE.
