We know we awarded this to Trenton Tuttle back in December of 2018. One nice thing about getting to cover the combine/camp/Sevens circuit is you get to see the kids and you learn even more about them. Tuttle is someone we have started to see with some frequency. Each time, we have come away more impressed.

At the Blue-Grey All-American combine, Tuttle, who is 5-11 and weighs 180 pounds, registered a 4.79 second 40-yard dash, a broad jump of 100-inches (8’4″), and a pro-agility shuttle of 4.44 seconds. As for strength, Tuttle repped the combine weight of 185-pounds on the bench press 14 times. Can’t give you official times for the Elite3 Foundation’s Tennessee Mega-Camp a week later but he looked both faster and quicker there.

His strength and power were no surprise, as Tuttle had won the Spring Lift-A-Thon since we last awarded him the Player of the Week. The 180-pounder bench pressed and power cleaned 255-pounds to win his weight class. Since donations were per pound, we would imagine he made quite a handsome sum for his team too.

KPGFootball has seen enough of this kid to confidently say he will be on a college roster when his Patriot days are through. He is a competitor and one tough customer. Those are the type of blue-collar guys we relish rewarding around both Stewart Williams and KPGFootball.

Congratulations, to Trenton Tuttle for being selected this week’s Stewart Williams Furniture Company’s Robertson County Player of the Week for the second time. Join us next week as we anoint a new recipient.
