We are in the Dead Period and decided to look back on a kid we publicized and helped win “Mr. Football” back in the day. This article was written back in 2018, after he attended our Mountain All-State combine and had come off a freshman season where he made our Freshman All-State Football Team. We were on this cat early. He turned into everything we could have ever hoped he would be and won Mr. Football his senior year after leading Coach Haywood, and his Belfry team, to. Haywood’s eighth (8th) KHSAA title. Enjoy this look back at one of our all-time favorite players who starred at one of our favorite programs for one of our all-time favorite coaches. No one saw the importance of what we provide and believed in our product more than Coach Haywood. God do we miss him!

Charles Andrew “Genny” Collins is on the cusp of eclipsing a Kentucky High School rushing record for yards per rushing attempt over the course of a year. The mark is presently held by Taveon Hunter who averaged 16.47-yards per rushing attempt over the course of 78-carries.
