We voted for Layton Davis, first-team (on our AP ballot), when he was still at Caldwell County last season. Layton was “Honorably Mentioned” on the AP team and first-team on KPGFootball’s squad as only a junior. There isn’t a coach in the West who wouldn’t pick him first if assembling a team and needing an inside presence along the front. This kid is All-State, all day long, and our sources tell us might possibly be headed to play for Lindsey-Wilson. Enjoy the feature. HB.

This week’s ‘Revolutionary Player’ may among Kentucky’s most highly decorated and recruited player in the ’24 class at the RB slot. If not the highest, he is certainly among them. He had a tremendous night against the Eagles of Graves County though, regrettably for his teammates and him, in a losing cause. Join us again a week from today and we will do all this once more. HB.

We just learned Brian Thomas will be back at Tilghman for the ’21 season.
