Destin Cheirs, when last we heard, was going to attend Murray State and try his hand at Ohio Valley Conference Football. Well, it would appear he will aim his sights a bit higher. Cheirs has the opportunity to “bet on himself” and attempt to make the Louisville Cardinals football team which competes at the FBS, Power-5 level (ACC). In the end, it was too good of an opportunity to not risk it. This kid here has all the attributes one would want for the cornerstone of the offensive line either in high school or college. We have given this award to him before, but this degree of outstanding is worthy of recognition whether or not he has been before adorned.
