We love what this ’24 FB/LB brings to both sides of the scrimmage line at Hopkins County Central. We are in the midst of the dumbest 2-week period in high school football. Yes, we are derisively discussing “Dead Period.” However, in a matter of days we will come out the other side of this haze and it will be football season in near full throat! Enjoy this feature about a player who will be counted on to make a big difference for his team. FL.

Cruz Cavanaugh is put together like a ’27 who figures on getting some Friday Night run in ’23. He played his MS football at South Hopkins and he looks poised to cause a few problems for teams looking to check the promising, rising freshman. Enjoy the feature. FL.

McNary is Kentucky’s consummate FB. He is the best player, Kentucky-wide, at a position under utilized in the modern game. He is a throw-back to a simpler, tougher time and he keeps the “Air Raid” attack grounded. Enjoy the feature. FL.

We have covered this prospect since he was in MS. His HS performance has far from disappointed as he is one of the more coveted WR prospects in Kentucky’s ’24 class. His offense is called the “Air Raid” attack and he has played a significant part in making it so. FL.

Cooper Evans play and thinks like a much older QB. He has been setting the flag league a blaze and has even been designing his own plays. To say this kid is ahead of the curve is understated. Enjoy this feature about the youngest prospect this online magazine has EVER featured. FL.

Isaac Earl, QB for The Storm, looks as though it is his job to lose- @_CoachManning @evans02_mike @HopkinsCentral @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @PrepSpin

This week we feature a kid who was pressed into duty a year ago and, under the circumstances, performed admirably. Isaac Earl is much more of a known commodity entering the sophomore year playing for a staff which consistently develops very good QB’s. What will Earl do this coming year? This feature should explain it. FL

Michael McDaniel knows 2023 is his time to come to the front of his class @Michael60053670 @_Elite3 @Coach_Lovely @_CoachManning @evans02_mike @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @KyHighFootball @PrepSpin @MaxPreps

College players need to hit the lineup by their sophomore years in HS. We have discussed this many, many times and that seems to be true regardless the quality of the program or its level of play. We believe McDaniel is a future college football player. He was in the lineup in ’22 and productive. To quote BTO (Bachman-Turner Overdrive), “You ain’t seen nothing yet…”

There are a lot of people in the college football recruiting world who have steadfastly maintained college football players, in high school, find the field over the course of their sophomore seasons, regardless of where they play. Some parents have asked us if it benefits a high school prospect to play at a prestigious program, routinely challenging for championships, as far as that prospect’s college destinations. Enjoy this feature as we delve into sone of that. FL.
