Here is a kid who has committed 110% to play football for the Georgetown College Tigers football program. Now, that is a pretty darn good week all by itself. The Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week Award is among the commonwealth’s oldest and most respected weekly awards. Of course, Mr. Football is the ultimate award for any high school player in Kentucky to win. It is a huge honor just to be in the running. This week’s Revolutionary Player has been named to the preseason “Watch List” for Mr. Football. That is quite an honor. So is winning this. McLean County High School had an incredible run in 2019. First, they got past Owensboro Catholic to win the district and they got to play State Champion Somerset in the Regional Championship Game.
