Yesterday, the KHSAA Board of Control announced its plan for the resumption of sports this Fall. We are listening intently at least as it involved football. Here is what we heard. HB.
This appeared in the Jackson Times-Voice’s July 22nd edition. It’s author, the editor of that publication and on our editorial board, Mr. Fletcher Long, has permitted our republishing it to our exclusive forum of “insiders” for those of you unfortunate enough to not live in Jackson, Kentucky or subscribe to the Times-Voice (he made us say this). This bit of news will shock the high school coaching fraternity in Kentucky as Coach Peach had garnered a level of success over his stint at Anderson County which would make one think him immune from a decision like this. Peach had a wonderful tenure for the Bearcats and took the program to unprecedented heights over the course of his career there. He was 114-63 at Anderson County with a trip to the Championship game (2011) and a trip to the Semis (2013). We wish Coach Peach good fortune as he prepares for the next stage of his career. HB.
