When you get to Kentucky 5A, that is certainly denoted as “Big Boy Football” within the commonwealth. For instance, players playing two-ways or “iron man football” at the 5A level or higher gets increasingly rare but you will still see it and usually those pulling it off are really special talents. This week we award our prestigious Revolutionary Player of the Week to an eighth grader presently in Dallas, TX to play for the East All-American squad in the Bret Cooper Junior Academic All-American football game. Inclusion on either the East or West rosters is a tremendous honor for a middle school player and we believe this article will disclose why this week’s recipient is hardly just any middle school football player.
