We make no bones about it, Joshuah Keith is the best QB in the class of 2024 anywhere in Kentucky in our opinion. He may be 2024’s very best football player too. A lot of what makes him different is his poise and football IQ. Than there is an 8th grader who runs in the high 4.6’s, low 4.7’s, in the 40 and shuttles in a blistering 4.0-flat. Of course his throwing a HS ball 59-yards this summer in Knoxville at the Gunslinger Challenge didn’t hurt his reputation either. Someone contacted old Coach Lyon and asked when we were going to put out our preseason top-10 football polls for each classification. Well, today seemed like as good a day as any to continue the tradition. Since KPGFootball started with the top classification when picking district winners, this time we started with Class 1A. Today we give you our projections for the next classification up from the lowest one, here is Class 2A!

This is part three of our three-part series “Wandering through the wasteland…” Today we predict the district winners in Classes 2 and 1A. This concludes our series. We got a note from someone advocating our doing a feature on this particular player. With his having played on two successful and victorious Team Kentucky Future Stars it was easily time to be featuring him. The person sending us the information said “He may not be feature material, but I think he’s a name worth remembering.” Well, we couldn’t disagree with you more about the first part. There are times where the words escape even us. We saw a legendary, star performance worthy of mythology out of Kentucky’s 7th grade QB in the Kentucky-Tennessee Future Stars Classic. It left us speechless and that isn’t good because it is our responsibility to tell all of you about it. This is the best we could do, hope it is enough. Family Affair….Class of 2025’s Connor Hodge

His older brother is bracketed as the No. 1 overall prospect, particularly QB prospect, in Kentucky’s Class of 2024 with Joshuah Keith. This version of Hodge QB looks definitively, at least to KPGFootball, to be the Class of 2025’s very best signal caller and, maybe, its best football player. We know he is one of Kentucky’s best basketball players in his graduating class, ask anyone knowledgable on the subject.
