It is one of the most controversial things we do all year. It is the publishing of the MS All-State Team. Today, we are publishing the Offense and will publish the Defense tomorrow. This team was selected from the nominations of our subscribers. Hey, membership has certain privileges, don’t know what to tell you. HB.
Hayes Preston didn’t make the Team Kentucky Future Stars-6th grade team but was an alternate. We know what Hayes can do and we still believe him to be among the very best football players in Kentucky in his graduating class. We can say this because look at everything else he has done. Not everyone in football thrives in shorts and shirts running around cones. Some people need to pad-up and thud-up for the evaluator to get a complete and accurate look at what the kid can do as a football player. We think our buddy, Ricco Hughes, missed one here. We miss on far more guys than he does. Nobody’s perfect, though he is pretty close.
Here are our impressions from the notes and information related to us by our on the ground correspondents at Team Kentucky camp. We were thrilled to hear yesterday from the Adkins family Jonah has been added to the Team Kentucky Future Stars-7th active roster for the June 15 show-down with Tennessee. Jonah, in an effort to keep himself physically ready, had been working all along in the event this opportunity should present. Yep, that is the Jonah Adkins we know. It is the biggest honor which can be bestowed on a middle school football player.
