Central went on the road needing a win to get into the number two slot when seeding commences. Central left Dixon, KY just hoping to have a seat when this “musical chairs” experience of a ’23 football season stops its music. Central came up short but still has plenty for which to play. Enjoy the feature. FL.

After last night’s 22-point loss to Union County, the remaining five games are games the Storm is capable of winning. It will take a Herculean effort to run the table (5-0) but we have the talent and ability to do just that. A 7-3 finish would put us in the number 2 slot in district 1 and assure us a couple home playoff games. This may be shaping up to be quite the year. FL.

This week we feature a kid who was pressed into duty a year ago and, under the circumstances, performed admirably. Isaac Earl is much more of a known commodity entering the sophomore year playing for a staff which consistently develops very good QB’s. What will Earl do this coming year? This feature should explain it. FL

Okay, Central wanted to win Friday night and wanted to knot its regular season record at 5-5 instead of the 4-6 finish it has experienced. All of that is true. However, there is a component of “next year” in every football program and a constant forward progression which must occur. There are lots of things to which to look forward if you are a Storm-watcher. One of those is the brilliant and composed play of its very young, freshman QB and heir-apparent to the keys to a potent offensive attack. Enjoy the feature. HB.
