This week’s Independence Bank’s Revolutionary Player of the Week is McLean County’s Peyton Caraway, Class of 2020 RB

July 13, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Congratulations to Peyton Caraway for being this week’s Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. This is a RB/MLB who appears to us to really enjoy playing football and whose role will expand in the absence of Cline, Baldwin, and Miller all being lost to graduation. When you gain 1,038 yards in only 95 carries, which works out to only 7.916 carries a game, you need to be getting the football more anyway. Join us next week for another selection.

Armondo Rodriguez, Class of 2020, McLean County High School is this week’s Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week

July 5, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Congratulations to Armondo Rodriguez for being this week’s Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. This is a PK who appears to us to really enjoy playing football. The kicking game, often overlooked by everyone except for us, is commonly the difference between winning and losing a football game. Armondo, like his brother before him, gives the Cougars a considerable advantage in this all-important part of the game. Join us next week for another selection.

This week’s Independence Bank Revolutionary POW is Madisonville North-Hopkins’ Jordan Vaughn, Class of 2020

June 27, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Congratulations to Jordan Vaughn for being this week’s Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. This is an OL at the next level, we believe, who has incredible upside between his height, length, athleticism, and nasty disposition on the field. We believe this to be Western Kentucky’s premier RT and maybe the best RT in all of Kentucky in the Class of 2020. Join us next week for another selection.

Henderson’s Daymian Dixon, Class of 2020 WR, is the Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week

June 22, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Daymian Dixon last year decided to come out for football for the first time since he was enrolled at Henderson North Middle School. The results? Well, in his first game he caught 5 passes for 136 yards receiving and a pair of TD tosses. How’s that? He finished off 2018 with 32 receptions for 589 yards receiving and now, on the eve of his senior Fall campaign, appears poised to be one of the Colonels’ most pronounced offensive weapons. Congratulations to Dixon on being named the Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week and join us next week as the fastest growing bank in the commonwealth of Kentucky anoints another recipient.

In all of the excitement over the Kentucky-Tennessee Future Stars classic this weekend, we almost forgot we have a Kentuckian on the US National Select team playing in Canton, Ohio for Team USA. His name is Sahvon Hines and he is from Owensboro, Kentucky. Sahvon will be a 9th grader this coming Fall at Owensboro Senior High School. Congratulations to Hines for representing his country well and for being selected our player of the week for the fastest growing bank in the commonwealth of Kentucky, Independence Bank. Join us next week as we recognize another outstanding and deserving player.

Jabin Wedding, Class of 2020, is this Week’s Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week

June 8, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

You always hear of “Wedding Bells.” Of course who can forget the late Jim-Ed Brown singing about “…all the wedding bells are ringing…” McLean County opponents hear an all-together, different type of Wedding-Bell. These are the type of bells heard after being “rung-up” by Jabin Wedding. Jabin is back for his senior year and McLean has it rolling in Class 2A, District 2. Enjoy this article about this week’s Revolutionary Player of the Week brought to you by our friends at the fastest growing bank in all of the Commonwealth, Independence Bank.

Meric-Dean Stinson, Class of 2019, Henderson County Colonels, is this week’s Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week

June 1, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

We don’t know how the Henderson County Colonels will replace players like this week’s recipient, Meric-Dean Stinson. It is not everyday a team is fortunate enough to have a guy with Stinson’s heart and fight in the line-up. Make no mistake, Stinson was as responsible for the Colonels’s turn-around in 2018 as any other player on the team. No one works harder than Meric-Dean Stinson and efforts like his are worthy of recognition and celebration. That is exactly why he is being recognized this week by Kentucky’s fastest growing (and hardest working) financial institution, Independence Bank. Join us next week as we award this to another worthy football player.

Noah Edelen, Class of 2020, from Owensboro Catholic is the Independence Bank Revolutionary POW

May 25, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Banks partner up with businesses in an effort to make the business, or its interest-holders, successful. Many times the public doesn’t even know which bank’s capital made the venture possible. In that way, Independence Bank is much like an offensive lineman. They labor in relative obscurity so YOU can flourish and get the accolades and glory. Not only does Independence Bank appreciate players who do the same thing on the gridiron, so do we at KPGFootball. That is why we write so much about offensive linemen. Well, if you love the bigs as much as we, Noah Edelen is your guy. Enjoy this article about one of the better interior OL in the 3A Classification and join us next week as we recognize another worthy player.

This week’s Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the week is Browning Springs’ Jordan Miles, Class of 2024

April 19, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Jordan Miles, though only currently in 7th grade, is certainly a name Madisonville area football fans want to begin to monitor. He’s already among the top of his graduating class, Kentucky-wide, as a football prospect and someone who may even garner early college offers. Regardless, he is the Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week which is its own reward. Join us next week as we select a new recipient.
