This Week’s Independence Bank’s Revolutionary Player of the Week is Class of 2020’s Jared Gobin from Madisonville North-Hopkins

There is no better time than the present to anoint another Independence Bank player, of the week. Independence Bank is proud to sponsor a weekly article highlighting players in the areas where Independence Bank flourishes who embody the same type of revolutionary service to their respective football teams which has made Independence Bank unique and special in the banking industry.

Independence Bank has a goal of achieving everyday excellence, and this week we are focusing on a player on the Madisonville North-Hopkins team who will be instrumental to the Maroons fortunes in 2019. This player’s performance has well exceeded both the Maroon’s and the Madisonville North-Hopkins community’s expectations. This player is Jared Gobin, a 6-3, 240 pound DE/OT for North Hopkins.

The North Hopkins High School is right down the road from two Independence Bank branches, both in Madisonville, Kentucky. One of the branches is located on 1776 North Main Street and the other is on 629 East Center Street.

Jared Gobin has done way more than play some football games for the Maroons of Madisonville North-Hopkins. The DE/OT prospect, with the frame to play either place but the present build to (more than likely) be a DE in college, has played very well in deed and is just one of the many reasons the Maroons figure to be in the State Championship hunt in Kentucky’s 4A classification this coming Fall.

Football aside, Jared has a 4.063 GPA and has registered a 32 on the ACT. There are schools who will literally throw academic money at Gobin aside from the ones inclined to put him on athletic scholarship. Through his hard work on the field and in the classroom, Gobin is sitting in life’s cat-bird seat, as we like to say.

Congratulations to Jared Gobin from Madisonville North-Hopkins, for his Revolutionary Play which has earned him this week’s recognition from the fastest growing bank in the Commonwealth of Kentucky…your friends at Independence Bank.
