Leelen Vanover, from Madison Southern High, is (likely) the best lineman in the KHSAA in its 2027 class @Leelen75 @Drake_Jackson52 @coachpayne64 @CoachHarpMS @FBCoachWolf @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @840WHAS @KyHighFootball

Leelen Vanover has been judged one of Kentucky’s top five (5) OL in the high school game we would suppose. We believe it must be an overall ranking because we can’t fathom there being four other freshmen/rising sophomore linemen in Kentucky on par with Vanover. Vanover is 6’2,” 280-pounds of grown looking and he has a 4.0 GPA. He is getting Division-1 looks right now and that attention is only going to get more common and fierce as we move along his high school career. He can play any of the five (5) upfront slots along the offensive line. Enjoy this feature. Friday Night Fletch.

@CoreyBitterling from @SouthWarrenFB has a bright future ahead at any number of schools. @minguabeefjerky @KyHighFootball @PrepSpin @MaxPreps @1776Bank

We gave used an arrow to point out Corey Bitterling. If you attend any South Warren games, we are wagering you will not need any gesticulation to find him. We have watched highlights on him and he jumps off the page at us. He may be a couple inches too short to play anywhere but center at the D-1 level. However, with his grades, he will be able to go wherever he wishes and there are some small-college programs who would pay handsomely for him. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Coach Lyon’s Class 5A preseason top-10 football poll…

July 28, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

Someone contacted old Coach Lyon and asked when we were going to put out our preseason top-10 football polls for each classification. Well, today seemed like as good a day as any to continue the tradition. Since KPGFootball started with the top classification when picking district winners, this time we started with Class 1A and yesterday we projected Class 4A. Today we give you our projections for the next classification up from the lowest one, here is Class 5A and we will complete the series tomorrow with Class 6A!
