Russ Crowe helped his Daviess County ball club get to tonight’s second round match-up with Central Hardin in Edgewood, Kentucky. I am not sure how many of you realize what an uphill battle Daviess County had to fight to just get to this game. That North Hardin club had to forfeit some games for the use of an ineligible player this year. Many of the games North was required to forfeit were games North had won handily. This week’s Protein-packed Performer of the week get little attention even though he is a 3-star, nationally rated QB-prospect playing 6A football in one of Kentucky’s more densely populated areas. Of course, the QB playing cross-town, at Owensboro Senior, is also among Kentucky’s top signal callers in the same graduating class, ’22. @DCHS_Football called us to task for omitting this prospect from our KPGFootball Freshman All-State football team. This kid could have made the team if he had gotten more opportunities and entered the lineup faster. Still, Daviess County has a point about it being hard to break the lineup in 6A football as a freshman and Parm’s being one of 2023’s very best prospects at the RB-position. One thing is for certain, we got our eyes on the young man going forward. You should too. HB.
