@BrysonParm from @DCHS_Football is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. @TheOwensboro @KyHighFootball @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin

There is no better time than the present to anoint another Independence Bank Player of the Week. Independence Bank is proud to sponsor a weekly article highlighting players in the areas where Independence Bank flourishes who embody the same type of revolutionary service to their respective football teams which has made Independence Bank unique and special in the banking industry.

Independence Bank has a goal of achieving everyday excellence, and this week we are focusing on a QB who really was more of a RB in the Colonel system. This guy knocked it out of the park in only 8-games of action in 2020.

Today we are recognizing the outstanding play of super sophomore RB, Bryson Parm, Class of ’23, from Daviess County High School in Owensboro, Kentucky. Not many sophomores can boast of rushing for greater than a thousand yards and leading his team in scoring all the while just being a sophomore. Sophomores may star all over Kentucky, but at the 6A classification their number is much, much smaller.

Parm’s Daviess County High School is not too far from 3 Independence Bank branches in Owensboro, Kentucky. One is located at 2425 Frederica Street, one is on 3228 Ky-54. Still, a third in on 2465 West Parrish Avenue. Get on by and visit the most rapidly growing bank in the commonwealth of Kentucky, Independence Bank. Independence Bank has started a revolution in the banking industry.

Bryson Parm, in a COVID-19 shortened season, still managed (in only 8-games) to rush for 1,069-yards. He carried the football 156-times scoring 14-rushing TDs along the way.

Parm averaged 133.6-yards per game. Parm averaged nearly 7-yards a carry (6.8525641). Parm scored a TD every 11.14-carries, which should tell you something about his back-end speed.

Remember, this kid will get much thicker and much harder to tackle than he was in ’20 in his present 5-9, 175-pound frame. I shutter at how hard he will be to tackle when he matures into his “man-muscles.”

Congratulations to Bryson Parm, for his Revolutionary Play in 2020 and we look forward to watching a huge junior campaign out of him in ’21. We are proud to award Bryson this week’s recognition from the fastest growing bank in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, your friends at Independence Bank.
