Dayton Kron is a talented kid who looks to land at the next level easily. Kron is being courted heavily by Hanover, Hampton-Syndney, and DePauw University, among others. One secret to his success is that the 6’1,” 225-pounder can play DE or can long snap. That type versatility is extremely important for a small college program who may find offering Kron is a “ton of bang for its buck.” In any event, Kron is performing at a very high level for a team which plays in Kentucky’s largest competitive classification. Let’s keep it comfortable out there, Kentucky, and allow us to help you out in that regard.

Storm Warning: Is there a leader emerging for Sylas Gunn? @HopkinsCentral, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @SylasGunn, @CoachSimmons_CC, @Coach_CotterLWC, @CoachManers, @washufootball

Recruiting is heating up for one of ’26’s more versatile and recruitable athletes. Gunn just got back from Centre College’s spring game and ring ceremony regarding its ’24 SAA title. Have the Colonels emerged from that event the clear leader? Is WashU, Georgetown, and Lindsey Wilson still firmly in the mix? We may not have all the answers in this article, but it is a fun game to get to contemplate. Enjoy this feature about a kid you might not have know about prior.

Storm Warning: Colleges finding the way to Morton’s Gap to scout talent. @evans02_mike, @Meloishim3, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @ChiefSmoke10, @_CoachManning, @SylasGunn, @carlos_mason52, @HopkinsCentral, @CountyMustangs

Manning has been doing a fine job developing talent colleges want to recruit and sign. Centre College, who has been red, smoking hot on the trail this offseason, stopped by Morton’s Gap to see a certain player on whom the Colonels have set its sights. We think we know who, but could be wrong. In any event, things are going swimmingly as the recruiting interest would certainly indicate. Enjoy the article and be careful out there; looks like a Storm is brewing!

William Long exits like he entered; a winner @CentreFootball, @williammlong

February 23, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

William Long has been featured many times on this forum which was partly created to publicize and support his efforts in the game of football from his middle school days forward. He never asked to be covered and, truthfully, William would have much preferred we not write about him. It has been a somewhat constant source of discord between us, truthfully. The problem has always been that William just kept accomplishing incredible things worthy of the “ink.” Yesterday, on his last official day as a football player, he did it a final time. Enjoy this feature about an athlete who made it a common, everyday, experience to bedazzle and bewilder us with the many accomplishments attributed to him through his many years as a football player.

Lincoln Acree, from Graves County High, is setting the football-world ablaze at Rivals, Atlanta and winning the Protein-packed Performer Award from @minguabeefjerky @Lincoln_Acree @GracieAcree @Jody_Acree @coach_debo @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball

Lincoln Acree is listed as an ATH on many national sites which feature recruiting. Man is he ever an athlete. Acree is a ’25 guy who can play WR or Corner at the college level. He can play at any division collegiately too. He has been featured and has before won the Independence Bank Revolutionary Player so, in winning this award today, he has been awarded the KPGFootball “hat trick.” Enjoy this feature and don’t forget to #SavorTheFlavor. The Knights should be alright as long as there are some Wasiks lingering @BradyWasik @WasikJackson @CentreFootball @LexCathFootball @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @840WHAS @KyHighFootball @N_Baisch42

Brady Wasik is a ’26 kid whose big brother was one Hell of a QB for the Knights over his career. Centre College, probably the most prestigious small college offer a Kentucky kid can possibly fetch, has taken the older Wasik (Jackson). Can the Colonels pick up a commitment from Brady too? Here’s to hoping…Friday Night Fletch.

We feature out of Kentucky talent when that talent is being recruited to Kentucky college programs. Hey, we are fans of the colleges and universities fielding football teams across Kentucky, as are our advertisers, so why not? This kid here is high on the Centre wish list and already holds numerous offers at prestigious schools for his services. Can the Colonels land this guy? We hope so.
