Greeneville, Kentucky has been described by one of our generation’s finest folk artists and song writers (John Prine) as “paradise.” We don’t know about that, but don’t dispute it, but we do know the Mustangs have some enviable, young talent to mix in with some big-time returners for the ’25 Fall season. One of those returners is Trever Hardesty who, we have been assured, will NOT come off the field next season. Larry Irvin is called “PeeWee.” That isn’t a name which opponents of the Bruins call Irvin. His performance at times in ’24, as a junior, was down right major league. Irvin turned it on when the playoffs began and led his team past Male High in round two in overtime.
