Marcus Hamilton from Calloway County is the @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the Week @Aspirationsgym, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @MarcusHam61, @CClakerfootball

’27 DT/OL has an impressive frame, now he needs the rest of the package to develop

Marcus Hamilton has all the parts of the equation you can’t really coach. Hamilton is 6’5.” Hamilton weighs in at 260-pounds. Hamilton has a long reach. Hamilton found the field for the Lakers during his sophomore season, which was last season (2024). Hamilton looks the part. When he starts playing the part, which we expect will be this next Fall, the colleges will be cattle calling their way to Murray, Kentucky. Young “Bigs” take some time to develop. Young “Bigs” have to grown into their frames, which usually get to the dance a little early. This kid has all the components to be a big time player in this area. Watch this guy as he continues to physically develop and take to coaching.

Mingua Beef Jerky uses Enviro-Pac CHU-2000 equipment to cook its meat to USDA required levels for both moist or dry operation. Mingua Beef Jerky wants you to become one of its many satisfied customers by sampling its quality hand sliced, all natural beef jerky. We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein-packed Performer, Marcus Hamilton, Jr., ’27 DT/OL from Calloway County High in Murray, Kentucky.

Murray, KY: Marcus Hamilton, Jr. has somethings in his game which really recommend him. For starters, one can’t coach 6’5,” 260. That is a frame the Good Lord gives a prospect or He doesn’t. That is a God’s call thing.

God gave it to Hamilton and in spades. Hamilton is only 15-years old ad on the verge of the summer entering his junior year. The junior year is a critical juncture. Colleges are deciding, right now, who is going on the recruiting board and who isn’t.

By the way, college coaches, his name is spelled M-A-R-C-U-S-H-A-M-I-L-T-O-N. You can thank us when you see us.

Hamilton played some as a sophomore. That is the season where the next level guys tend to crack the play rotation.

According to the KHSAA statistics, Hamilton got run in six (6) varsity games a year ago. In those six (6) games he registered (6) tackles.

That isn’t anything at which to sneeze. Lots of kids pulling spot duty don’t register any statistics.

Hamilton is a ’27 prospect. He will be under a new coaching staff this coming season. Coby Lewis has been brought in fresh off a staff which won the 4A title to turn around a 4A program which was winless a year ago.

Lewis is probably aware but he won’t have the talent on his roster this coming year he enjoyed while on the staff at Tilghman High School in Paducah, Kentucky. That is okay, Lewis is a salty veteran of the Western Kentucky football world. He knows what time it is and he will be tirelessly committed to getting the Lakers back to respectability then on toward flourishing.

We like mentioning a student/athlete’s academic performance in our articles. It is important players with good academic performance post those numbers prominently on the X-Account or on his Hudl page.

This is a prospect we would wager performs well in the classroom. However, we have linked his Hudl page and X-Account and neither makes mention of it so that is something this young man will want to get shored up heading into the junior year.

Lewis

We like this prospect. We particularly love his frame and length and believe this is a guy who could round into a very coveted and recruited prospect as he matures. Until then, we thought we would get our friends at Minga Beef Jerky to send him along some of the world’s finest all-beef, jerky products and a sweet T-shirt for his efforts thus far.

Join us next week as we return to honor another weekly prize winner. Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind; just like Calloway County High School’s Marcus Hamilton, Jr.
