’26 RB has all the tools for which colleges search

Jay’Quan Crawford is 6’2,” weighs 215-pounds and can “fly.” His “Flyers,” from Frankfort, KY, have had quite a run the last few years, the last two of which have ended up undefeated in the regular season and the last one of which ended on Kroger Field playing for a title. What will the Flyers do in ’25? If recent history holds, contend for the championship once more.

Coin toss, 4A title game, vs. Tilghman’s “Blue Tornado”

Frankfort, KY: The Franklin County “Flyers” are on a heater. The Flyers were 13-1 in ’24, were the second team in program history to reach the state finals, have experienced back to back undefeated regular seasons, had their ’24 team tie for the program record in wins for a single season (13), have made five (5) consecutive trips to the semis, and have just graduated a senior class which racked up 44-wins over their careers.

That is quite a run. How many programs can boast of similar, sustained success?

What will the Flyers to in 4A in the coming season? If history is any indicator; contend!

For this program to continue to maintain the level of success it has recently enjoyed, the Flyers will have to get a great season from a RB physically capable of delivering. It is time for Jay’Quan Crawford to come to the fore and lead his team to the Promise Land!

He has all tools.

Crawford is 6’2,” and weighs in around 215-pounds. Crawford benches 230, squats 495, power cleans 270, and carries a 3.14 GPA. Crawford has D-1 frame, positional strength, and explosion (check out the squat and power clean).

He also has the offers. This kid passes the “eye test” by a country mile!

Crawford is rated a 3-star recruit by most of the national services which cover Kentucky. He is rated Kentucky’s number one HS running back in the ’26 graduating class.

Crawford is holding offers from EKU, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, and Toledo. UK is circling just outside the camp but close enough to draw comfort from the fire if you catch the drift we’re dropping.

Crawford is routinely ranked among Kentucky’s top 10 prospects in the ’26 graduating class. Crawford was “honorably mentioned” to several postseason teams after his junior season.

This three (3)-star has one final number which fans overlook but colleges don’t. That 3.14 GPA he is carrying will look good on a college admission application. You know, these aren’t just football programs offering him, they are universities too.
