’27 WR/DB already contributing on both sides of the scrimmage line
Jaylen Bradley is the type of athlete around whom programs are built. Bradley played quite a bit over his sophomore season for the Glasgow Scotties and is on the varsity basketball team too. Bradley was among the leaders in receptions, yards receiving, TDs receiving, INTs, and passes broken up (PBUs). There is a new sheriff in town in Coach Jackson Arnett. We think he will get this party started the right way.

Glasgow, KY: Jackson Arnett has been brought in to replace a coach who won 84-games in 10-seasons and has since retired from coaching and teaching. If you think Arnett will struggle to meet the Jeff Garmon standard set by the previous head man, remember Glasgow High is the 12th winningest program in KHSAA history with 690-all time wins and a winning percentage of close to 63%.

Glasgow has reached the title game four times (1982, 1999, 2000, and 2011). The 2011 edition won 14-games and lost in the championship to Covington Holy Cross, 33-14.
Big shoes to fill? Sure. Can Arnett fill them? Sure, again.
How do we go about putting a Scotties team on the field to rival, and resemble, the level of play fans have come to expect? It begins with talent. Good thing Arnett will have some talent returning.
One of the brightest young stars is Jaylen Bradley. We have talked many times about the fact a college player finds the field sometime during his high school, sophomore season.
Bradley has a 3.8 GPA and stars in basketball and football

Bradley played in 11-games and he did quite a bit more than just find the field. Bradley flourished.
Bradley is 5’11,” 150-pounds and stars in basketball and football. Bradley has a 3.8 GPA and clips off forties in 4.7-seconds. That time will drop as he both matures and hits the squat rack this offseason.
Bradley caught 12-balls for the Scotties on offense this past season. Bradley accumulated 273-yards in receiving and housed three of his targets, or one ever 4th reception.
Bradley was a defensive star too. Bradley was among the leaders in passes broken up (PBUs) while also picking a pair of passes. Bradley registered 16-tackles on the year, but let’s get real here; do we really want our DBs making too many tackles? Yeah, exactly what I thought.
So, headed into year one of the Arnett regime, how big of a year should we expect out of Bradley. Let us just put it this way, if this kid isn’t in serious contention for the Big Ass Fans Small School All-State Football team next season, we may eat our own hats.
Then again, what do we know?
