@DeuceBailey1 from @BGJHSFootball is this week’s @1776Bank “Revolutionary Player of the Week.” @BGJHS @PurplesFootball @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KYMSFAOfficial @KyHighFootball

There is no better time than the present to anoint another Independence Bank Player of the Week. Independence Bank is proud to sponsor a weekly article highlighting players in the areas where Independence Bank flourishes who embody the same type of revolutionary service to their respective football teams which has made Independence Bank unique and special in the banking industry.

Independence Bank has a goal of achieving everyday excellence, and this week we are focusing on a player, Deuce Bailey who played very well last week against North Pulaski Middle School in the KYMSFA’s Division-I, semi-finals. He will need to do much of the same when the his Bowling Green Junior High football team rolls into Taylor County to play the Elkhorn “Elks” this coming Saturday for the title.

“The Deuce” is “No. 1” to quite a few folks these days!

Bailey’s Bowling Green Junior High School is right down the road from three Independence Bank branches. First, there is the Fairview Avenue Branch, 977 Fairview Avenue; second, and one of our favorites, is the Freedom Square Branch, 1950 Scottsville Road; and third is the Nashville Road Branch located on 2415 Nashville Road all three of which are in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Go on down and see our friends at either one or, perhaps all three, of these Independence Bank locations. Give them both the opportunity and privilege to earn your business. Let them demonstrate to you what makes Independence Bank the best in the banking business  and the fastest growing financial institution in Kentucky.

Deuce Bailey is one of the ’25’s best dual-threat signal callers who is equally effective on the defensive side. Hard to say where he lands in high school when he gets to Coach Mark Spader.

We believe Coach Spader is excited about getting the opportunity to add quite a few off the Division-I finalists to his program beginning next year. The Junior-High set play for the KYMSFA, Division-I Championship this coming Saturday. They have drawn the assignment of stopping Elkhorn and the reigning Mingua Beef Jerky “Protein-packed Performer of the Week,” in class of ’25’s Kalen “Jaws” Washington.

Bailey had a tough hill to climb this past weekend in leading his team to a tough fought 20-14 win over a North Pulaski squad well accustomed to such settings. BGJHS is, likewise, accustomed to deep playoff runs and championships as the semifinal game pitted two of the middle school’s most storied programs.

Still, QBs are judged on one statistic over and above any other. That statistic is “wins.”

This 5-8 “Athlete” guided his ball-club past a very difficult semi-finals assignment in splendid fashion. Bailey also has the “Purples” poised to take a shot at the ‘Ship.

Can’t really ask for any more from a quarterback than that! Wouldn’t you agree?

Congratulations to Deuce Bailey, both for his Revolutionary Play against North Pulaski and that which is to come this Saturday in the 2020, Division-I, KYMSFA Championships. His play in the past and what he has the ability to do going forward has earned him this week’s recognition from the fastest growing bank in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, your friends at Independence Bank.
