Most people thought Shelby Valley would emerge from the 8th-District as the champion in 2019. Well, most people couldn’t have been more in error. It was West Carter, at 9-4 in 2019, who went on to play Beechwood for the Regional Title. Well, 8th-district, bad news, the Comets return many key components in 2020. Enjoy the article. HB.

The Bell County Bobcats have certainly lost a marquee player in London Stephney. Stephney, headed to the Naval Academy to play football, matriculated to the school from his Knoxville, Tennessee home some 3-4 years ago. He graduated last term. However any team with Dudley Hilton at the helm will always have a chance and Bell County just may be returning more than one realizes.
