’26 two-way star thriving on a young roster taking its licks Cooper Mobley is a 6’1,” 210-pound grown man playing football at the 2A level in the western end of Kentucky. Mobley is also an accomplished “thrower” on the varsity Track & Field team which says quite a lot about […]

’23 Chargers team showed its vastly different than prior versions Camron McDaniels may be the best kept secret in Kentucky High School football. The junior TE/DE, with the help of his teammates, has completely reversed the Chargers’ football fortunes. At 6’5,” 245-pounds, he has the perfect frame for D-1 football […]

Bryce Button, a ’25 QB at South Warren in Bowling Green, KY, over the first seven (7) games of this ’23 season has been the very picture of Swiss-made precision. Last week he completed close to 80% of his passing attempts and threw for four (4) TD’s against 0-picks. Regardless of college potential, and he has his fair share, this kid is a dynamite high school football player. ‘McNary on the Carry’ is the @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the Week- @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLpreps @MaxPreps @HopkinsCentral @evans02_Mike @840WHAS @sfitz_840whas

Every time Calil McNary gets a hand-off, the PA says, “McNary on the Carry.” Now, that is branding. Every time we see Central’s 6’2,” 240-pound FB we think, “McNary on the Carry.” When you see him around Hopkins County, try it! He broke several career marks in his fine career last Friday against Trigg County. His night against Trigg alone was jerky-worthy. Throw in the career marks, and it really isn’t close. Enjoy this feature and join us again next week when we recognize another outstanding athlete. Till then, pop some of Kentucky’s finest jerky products in your mouth and savor the flavor! #SavorTheFlavor! FL

Russ Osborne leads his Shelby Valley Wildcats to victory and has the athleticism to play on either side or the football at the next level. We don’t know where that level will be but we know there will be a next level for this guy. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch

The unforgettable, Ethan Wilson, and his Jackson County Generals have tied the program all-time, season wins mark; and in only 8-games @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @minguabeefjerky @HopkinsCentral @evans02_mike @840WHAS @sfitz_840whas @HopkinsCentral @JacksonCountyHS

Jackson County on Thursday night, with the help of a splendid senior RB who began the year as a TE/LB, did something the program has never before done…the Generals won their sixth game of the season in only the team’s eighth attempt. The Generals are sitting at the top of the 5th District (freelance) standings with two games to play staring down the barrels of an 8-2 potential. They were 0-10 a year ago. Wow!

James Posey from Hopkins County Central High is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. @minguabeefjerky @HopkinsCentral @evans02_mike @_CoachManning @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps @sfitz_840whas@McLeanSportsNet @MCHSCoach

James “Pocket Full Of” Posey has been in everyone’s pocket (or backfield) over the first seven (7) games of this ’23 season. Last week, against one of the stronger ball clubs in 3A, District 1 (McLean), Posey spent the entire night chasing ball handlers around the Cougars’ backfield. He is a tad undersized but has the length to make up for it. Regardless of college potential, and he has his fair share, this kid is a dynamite high school football player.
